Dear Families, We had an amazing Athletics day !
Thank you to all the parents who came to support and who assisted with transport, and for all those who kindly offered to assist. Thanks especially to Elise Jordan, Mr Mawson, Mr Elsmore and Ness Lawgun for all their hard work!
Primary Parent Meeting – Monday evening, 10th June, which will be a wonderful opportunity for us to meet with you. Parent-teacher interviews will take place week 2 next term, and mid-year reports go out just before then.
The theme this term is God is Our Forgiving. You may like to remind children of God’s wonderful grace and forgiveness, and how He wants us to forgive others.
We will be learning about the Treaty of Waitangi for Social Studies this term, States of Matter in Science, Poetry for Literacy, Time and Fractions for Maths and the children are doing a Health unit on being ‘Fire-Wise.’ They may discuss a home evacuation plan with you.
